Collage

Made from acrylic painted collage, these landscapes of Skye, Harris and   Lewis are evocative of the beautiful scenery of the Hebridean islands.

By washing paint onto large sheets of paper, Elly then imaginatively tears the paper into pieces which are then used to create these stunning artworks. Utilising the torn edges and the natural wrinkle of the paper when wet, her landscapes are gradually built up, from the dramatic skies down to the spectacular hills and water.
